Allegro Academy of Dance is the long time dream of Carol Salter Jackson who has loved and studied the art of dance since the age of three. Having the benefit of extensive training from local and nationally recognized professionals as well as 18 years of hands-on teaching experience, Miss Carol has created a unique approach to dance instruction for her students. The Academy's primary focus is striving to help each student achieve his or her individual goals in the field of dance. The faculty of Allegro Academy of Dance has been carefully chosen to reflect the desire to build every student's self esteem and respect for the art form. Emphasis is placed on personal attention, class placement by ability level, parent-teacher communication, and age appropriate and tasteful choreography.

Miss Carol and the faculty feel that the study of dance provides a strong foundation for creating the ability to perform in public, building teamwork skills, practicing time management, developing memory, and especially achieving the level of discipline needed to fulfill their dreams.

Unique to Allegro Academy of Dance is the format of the annual spring performance. Students are given the opportunity to participate in a professional style production with a central theme creating a total performance experience rather than a recital.

The entire faculty of allegro Academy of Dance has a deep love of all forms of dance and a desire to share their enthusiasm and knowledge with each student. The Academy's promise to you, the students and parents, is to provide an enjoyable learning experience in a professional, caring atmosphere. Each member of the staff feels a responsibility to be a positive role model and an example of personal integrity.
